People Matter.

When a client trusts us to collaborate with them in the development of their brand, the best results are achieved. Preferred Maintenance Group (PMG) contacted us to develop a logo, stationery and website to jumpstart the PMG brand. Delivering your message to the right audience is crucial to having a successful brand. PMG focuses on the client as an individual, giving them personalized and professional service like no other. They do things a little differently, focusing on building a trusting relationship with each client and taking care of every employee as if they were family. They needed us to help them communicate this with their brand.

Clean medical facilities are essential to the health of people, and the focus on health was a catalyst for forming the company. PMG specializes in commercial cleaning for medical facilities, professional centers, and multi-tenant buildings. Not every solution is one size fits all, and each contract is tailored to the needs of the client. A key component in their brand development was to communicate the benefits of using this service over another company on the website.

We were inspired by such a young talented entrepreneur and enjoyed the entire process from concept to completion. For more information about PMG, check out the website at http://www.preferredmaintenancegroup.com

When to Call A Pro

The best identifying marks personify and promote a company by helping consumers to have a positive awareness of the brand. This identity is ingrained into every facet of the brand and company culture, serving as reminder of the company purpose. Brands help consumers to differentiate one product or service from another based on reputation.

There are several reasons to invest in a professionally created brand identity:

1) Make it easy for customers to buy.

A strong identity will show consumers what makes a company different from others in the industry.

2) Make it easy to sell the product or service.

If you or your employees are not excited about the brand’s identity, the consumer won’t be excited about what is being sold.

3) The reputation of a company is one of its most valuable assets.

A strong identity will make it easier to build brand equity through awareness, recognition, and customer loyalty. All of these elements make a company more successful.

We’ve all seen business cards prepared on a home printer using perforated paper and the impression they leave. Professionally designed collateral will convey an image of expertise that consumers can trust.

Get the Most Out Of Pinterest for Businesses

“I saw that on Pinterest!”

I’m sure you’ve been hearing that quite a bit recently. We are very visual beings, and the ability to see something versus hearing or reading about it is instantly gratifying. Pinterest is one of the leaders of this trend, and is a social media tool that businesses should take advantage of. Creating a page for your business is a simple way to tell your story, build a community of followers, and send traffic to your website.

The best boards are inspiring with beautiful images and engaging content. Re-pinning images from other Pinterest pages is quick and easy. However, pinning images of your product, your workplace, videos, customer testimonials, and inspirations is much more impactful and reflective of the brand.1 Sharing your values, highlighting specials, celebrating holidays, and showing how you are different are just a few things you can do to make an emotional connection with your audience and build brand equity.

Below is an example of some of the work we have pinned on our Pinterest page:

To increase search engine results from your images, use target keywords in the filenames, quality photos with visual appeal, and a pin description that is accurate and thorough.2 Create a Pinterest profile with multiple boards that reflect the personality and essence of your brand. Adding a link to your Pinterest page to your social media or website can increase your number of followers. There are several tools available to do this, including is a board widget and a follow button that can be added to your website. A pin-it button is available for your website to place next products and updates. 3

To get you started, the creators of Pinterest have set up a page to walk you through every step of creating your own business page:

We're rolling up our sleeves

This part of the year is typically a time to reflect on the past and focus on the future. The story isn't any different at Worx.

We encourage a lot of you to blog, write about your industry and share relatable information to the public. So why haven't we been doing this? Well, if you're reading this it's probably because you either own a business or are involved in marketing and we all know how easy it is to get wrapped up in keeping the daily operation moving forward.

This year, we're focusing on bringing you more information. The kind of stuff that makes you go "ohhhhhh." We want you to have that "ah-hah" moment that takes you to the next level, make the world of advertising a little bit easier to understand and inspire you to challenge yourself.

This year you can expect information on a weekly basis from us. We'll be talking about:

Week 1: Inspiration - Staying positive and proactive
Week 2: Branding - Understand your brand potential better
Week 3: Technical - What's trending and how to use it
Week 4: Client Feature - Showcasing one of our latest go-getters

We're starting off the year with a few great changes ourselves...

As of January 1st, 2013, we are officially Worx Graphic Design, Inc. (sounds official, huh?)

We also launched our new website which puts a heavier focus on client experience.

2013 is a time to take life and business by the hand and conquer those unsung goals. I challenge you to stir up those ideas that have kept you up at night. It's time to make things happen, together.
